The sign is barely visible on the aerial maps (this is in some contrast to one of the signs in Clare which is on similar land).

We found this one and its actually in good condition. Tom Faherty gives tours ood the island and he walked is out to it. I have some pictures.
Not sure if I’m stating the obvious here but there are 2 signs on Inis Mor – both on opposite ends of island. Presume one was not visible enough ? One at 53.141145 -9.821128. and the other at 53.125644 -9.701928.
