Treasa Lynch is a computer programmer with a degree in modern languages, and is currently studying for a degree in mathematics and statistics.
Amongst her interests are the history of languages, lace making and reading. She is particularly interested in certain aspects of history, how the common place falls out of use and occasionally becomes forgotten. She is particularly interested in organising information, particularly when it comes from disparate sources such as a travel guide on Achill and a popular science site.
She visited Malin Head in 1986 and this was her first contact with the EIRE signs of the second world war. She didn’t start 2012 intending to start a project on Irish military history; it just happened.
